The brother touches on the wonderfully important truth that the biblical writers who "saw" heaven, to whatever degree, were in awe and filled with fear and reverence. I think any genuine encounter with God will produce this. I am reminded of Peter's words, "go away from me Lord. I am a sinful man."
Also, as an aside, I am not entirely convinced that Paul's experience was only a vision. Indeed, Paul himself wasn't really sure either, it seems.
