Luke 6:26 - Woe unto you, when all men shall speak well of you! for so did their fathers to the false prophets.
The following videos are a great representation of what a false prophet looks like, sounds like and acts like. With thousands of followers including one Jew and one Roman Catholic, (as you will see in these videos) Joel Osteen is one of the most popular false prophets of our day. With such quotes as"I see myself more as a life coach than a preacher", no wonder the world and the apostate church love him and want to follow him. We need to take heed to The Lord Jesus Christ words, "Beware of false prophets, which come to you in sheep’s clothing, but inwardly they are ravening wolves." (Matt. 7:15) Peter also warns us about false prophets when he wrote, "But there were false prophets also among the people, even as there shall be false teachers among you, who privily shall bring in damnable heresies, even denying the Lord that bought them, and bring upon themselves swift destruction." (2 Pet. 2:1)
We should keep our eyes out for these false prophets who are in the world, they are slick and subtle, just like their father the devil. We are given a great admonition from John when he wrote, "Beloved, believe not every spirit, but try the spirits whether they are of God: because many false prophets are gone out into the world." (1 John 4:1) One way we can discern if someone is a false prophet is by putting them to the test of the word of God. As it is written in Isaiah 8:20, To the law and to the testimony: if they speak not according to this word, it is because there is no light in them. You never hear Osteen preaching repentance and the Lordship of Jesus Christ, which is proclaimed so strongly in the Word of God. May we take heed to these words. We are living in the last days and there will be many more of these "wolves in sheep's clothing" arising as That Day approaches. Luke 21:28 - And when these things begin to come to pass, then look up, and lift up your heads; for your redemption draweth nigh.
Our mission is Three Fold – 1. To preach the gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ to the lost and dying world. (Act 26:18) - 2. To encourage the true believer to follow after holiness, to walk in His light and to stand boldly in these last days. (1John 1:7) - 3. To reprove the false teaching of the apostasy in this Laodicean age (Revelation 3:14-22). Reproving the Darkness is a Ministry of Grace Bible Fellowship Anderson, IN. True sanctification then does not consist in talk about religion.
True sanctification does not consist in temporary religious feelings.
True sanctification does not consist in outward formalism and external devoutness.
Sanctification does not consist in retirement from our place in life, and the renunciation of our social duties.
Sanctification does not consist in the occasional performance of right actions. (p. 32)
Genuine sanctification will show itself in habitual respect to God’s law, and habitual effort to live in obedience to it as the rule of life.
Genuine sanctification will show itself in an habitual endeavour to do Christ’s will, and to live by His practical precepts.
Genuine sanctification will show itself in an habitual desire to live up to the standard which St. Paul sets before the churches in his writings.
Genuine sanctification will show itself in habitual attention to the active graces which our Lord so beautifully exemplified, and especially to the grace of charity.
Genuine sanctification, in the last place, will show itself in habitual attention to the passive graces of Christianity.

Go and Tell Others
Christian people, here is the question that comes to us at a time like this. What is our attitude towards men and women around and about us who are not concerned about these things (spiritual things) who are heedless about them? Have we a sense of compassion for them? Do we know what it is to feel that we will do anything we can in order to make them have what we have got? This is the Christian position, so that, by nature, all who are in Christ have this missionary spirit, this desire for others to have and to share with them the thing that they themselves possess; it is inevitable by definition.
